Children's Literature Position, University of Winnipeg

The Department of English at the University of Winnipeg invites applications for a probationary, tenure-track appointment at the level of Assistant Professor. This appointment will be effective July 1, 2005 and is subject to budgetary approval. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. We are seeking candidates with a speciality in children?s literature and culture. We are particularly interested in candidates with strengths in one or more of the following areas: creative writing, postcolonial and/or diasporic studies, cultural studies, gender and sexuality studies, queer theory. Experience or interest in developing and teaching on-line courses and/or telecourses is an asset.
