Please join Children's Services and The New York Public Library for the Anne Carroll Moore Lecture on November 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Donnell Library Center, Bankers Trust Company Auditorium, 20 West 53rd Street, New York City.
This year Peter S?s, author of Train of States, Fire Truck and Starry Messenger: Galileo Galilei, is the honored speaker. The title of his talk is "The Train of Ideas."
The annual publication Children's Books 2004: One Hundred Titles for Reading and Sharing will be available. Guests are invited to the Central Children's Room, second floor, to examine these books on exhibit and have coffee beginning at 10:00 a.m. Selections of original art from the titles on the list will be also be on display.
