Book Fest, The New York Public Library's annual conference about books for children and teens will take place on November 6 at the Bartos Forum (Fifth Ave. & 42nd St.) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Jack Gantos will be the keynote speaker, followed by lively book discussions and an
afternoon panel with Suzanne Collins, Nina Crews, David Levithan and Javaka Steptoe.
Books will be available for sale and autographing. The Office of Children's
Services and the Office of Young Adult Services sponsor this one?y conference on
books for children and teens.
The registration fee is $55 which includes morning coffee/tea, lunch and afternoon
sherry. For program information, brochures and registration questions call:
