STORIES BY THE SEA STORYTELLING FESTIVAL - SEPT. 17
Join us for the tenth annual Stories by the Sea storytelling festival presented by Oregon Library Association's Children's Services Division, and cosponsored by the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts. We offer exciting and entertaining continuing education workshops, storytelling performances, and story swaps. This year's festival includes glittering performances by master storytellers Margaret ReadMacDonald and Richard Scholtz, Batsy Bybell, and Joel Ben-Izzy.
Workshops will feature storytelling tips and training from our storytelling professionals, and ways to enhance performances through the use of puppets and song. Also featured will be two story swaps, a children's matinee, and a special evening performance by Joel BenIzzy. For complete schedule and workshop descriptions, visit our website at.
