Hi! I just joined this discussion group because I noticed that the topic would be middle school read alouds. I teach 6th grade Language Arts and will be starting school Sept. 1. I would be interested in hearing what others might be reading aloud that first week of school. I have done Dr. Seuss' Oh The Places You Will Go in the past to kick off a theme for being in a new school, but I'm tired of that and would like some fresh ideas. Thanks much!
