Dear CCBC and Susan S., I read aloud the chapter in the Hobbit where Bilbo and Gollum are trading riddles and the ring has just found its way into B's pocket. It's fun to guess the riddles and to do Gollum's voice with enough crazy and vileness in it. Beloved by all, or mostly all. I've read it to 4th and 5th graders and sophomores in college classes.
