Hi All,
This is off thread a bit, but I was wondering if anyone is interested in starting an online book discussion with students this upcoming school year. I am a librarian for grades 4-7 in a private school in New Jersey. I can work with any of these grade levels, but I also have a mixed grade level lunch book discussion group which is called The Young Critics (see www.emslibrary.org ), and I could involve these students in an online discussion with another school - might be more interesting this way.
I think it would be fun to bring other schools into a discussion. I'm just brainstorming at this point with no particular books in mind or set game plan. Just testing the waters!
Please contact me if you would like to explore this idea further, or if you can point me to any good resources - at eschuster at elisabethmorrow.org
