Honestly, I'm not so sure the extroverted/non-reader introverted/reader theory holds much water anyway. I'm a highly extroverted avid reader. I need A LOT of contact with people to be happy. People in stories supplement the "real" people in my world. On t he other hand, I know some introverted people who read very little. They have other outlets, such art, music, sports, and--yes--watching television. Not a very scientific sampling but there you have it. Maggie Bokelman
