There are four books I particularly appreciate (and my partner specializes in adolescent women?s health and she shares these books all the time):

Two by Robie Harris & Michael Emberley: It?s So Amazing and It?s Perfectly Normal. These I know are available in more than a dozen languages, so I?m assuming Spanish is one of them. I also know that It?s Perfectly Normal has been revised a bit and is being reissued this fall by Candlewick for it?s 10th anniversary.


What?s the Big Secret (by Marc & Laurie Krasny Brown) is fun, too. Not as much information as the Harris / Emberley books, but very good.

The Care and Keeping of You - The Body Book for Girls from the Pleasant Company I?ve always liked ? but this misses half of the puberty-filled population.
