Reading John Kenneth Gailbraith's The Good Society: The Human Agency, this seems pertinent to the discussion. He equates a good society with one in which voice and influence are not confined to one part of the population, with any of its citizens marginalized. To remedy it he calls for a coalition of the
"concerned and the compassionate," to make a society where all citizens have personal liberty, basic well?ing, social and ethnic equality, and the opportunity for a rewarding life." A big order, but we fill it by heeding wise suggestions such as Arnold Dadoff's, and using his example to help us come to such decision on our own. Good for Mr. Dadoff! M.E.Kerr
