Thanks to 6,039 Wisconsin students who nominated 148 different titles (and to the teachers and library media specialists who made it possible for them to participate), we now have our list of nominees for the 2005 Golden Archer Award. Wisconsin's student-choice literature award is sponsored by The Wisconsin Educational Media Association (WEMA). Over 21,000 student participated in selecting the 2004 winners, and we would like to involve even more in next year's voting. It is not necessary to be a WEMA member to have your students participate. The deadline for submitting ballots is March 15, 2005 . For more information, consult the WEMA website: www.wemaonline.org (click on Golden Archer Award in the lower right corner of the page)
