3rd ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S AND YOUNG ADULT LITERATURE CELEBRATION
" Open a Door... Open a Book... Open your Mind... to the World"
Saturday, November 20, 2004 Pyle Center, Langdon Street -- Madison, Wisconsin 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Featuring: Deborah Ellis, Francisco Jimenez, Jane Kurtz, An Na
This celebration will be an all?y interactive workshop for K educators, librarians, students and children's literature enthusiasts, with an aim to internationalize statewide reading curriculum. Two authors will speak in the morning session and two following lunch. Our final hour will be divided into break out sessions for more intimate dialogue between the authors and participants. In conclusion, we will have a reception and book signing.
Registration: Each participant will receive one book of their choice by the invited authors, lunch at the Pyle Center with the authors, and a workshop poster with the $50 registration fee. Space is limited, so early registration is requested. Deadline is Friday, November 12, 2004. Late registration will be accepted based on space availability.
