Hello, everyone! Dr. Eliza Dresang and I will be teaching an online course called International Children's and Young Adult Literature this summer at the Florida State School of Information Studies, so of course we were intrigued by the listserv's recent discussion of Batchelder books. Do you have further comments about using translated books, or English-language books from other countries, with children? We're particularly interested in children's responses to the books.
Please reply to me personally, not to the list. Thanks in advance for sharing your stories with us and our students.
