Ginny alerted me that the graphic part of my post didn't come through earlier. Apparently it was stripped out as potential spam.
What I had forwarded, for those of you who didn't get it, was an advertisement of a link on Brodart's web site to their large collection of graphic novels, and testimony about one high school's huge success circulating graphic novels:
At Boynton Beach High School in Palm County, FL, their 600 book graphic novel collection is a mere one percent of the total library holdings. But these books account for 50 percent of the library's circulation, with a limit of four per student checked out at one time!
