Sibert

Poetry is tricky and probably should not belong in nonfiction in Dui, but the 800s are somewhat of a catch-all.

As for what at least one Sibertian looked for aside from smooth writing
(and that certainly includes strong verb use) and excellent bibliographical materials and fitting illustrations is factuality. I won't cite to a title of a non-awardee this year, but when I find a factual error, one which most people would not notice, I begin to question matters about which I am not an "expert." Of course, the book must not condescend and treat a young reader as a somewhat lame-brained individual.

Sibert has been one of the very best experiences in my professional life--for which I am grateful.
