The Center for Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults at the the University of San Francisco presents READING THE WORLDVI, March 13, 14, 2004. Speakers include Ashley Bryan, Alma Flor Ada, Isabel Campoy, Cynthia and Greg Leitich Smith, Suzanne Fisher Staples, Unesco Award Winner Ruth Starke of Australia, Junko Yokota, and storyteller Ruth Stotter. Over 40 break out sessions will feature Judy Sierra, Teri Sloat, Diane Wolkstein, Yuyi Morales, Milly Lee, Effie Lee Morris, Melba Beals, and many others. Gerald McDermott will speak at the Celebration Dinner, Book Market and more.
