Varied voices: I hear America singing" is the theme for the April 17, 2004, 15th annual Celebration of Children's Literature, hosted by Montgomery College, Maryland and co-sponsored by the Children's Book Guild of Washington, D.C., Montgomery County Public Libraries and Montgomery County Public Schools. Speakers include Elizabeth Levy ("I hear America laughing"), Floyd Cooper
("Expanding visual expression"), and Michael Cart ("Young adult literature-an oxymoron no longer"). Sessions feature Laura Elliott, Roz Schanzer, Janet Morgan Stoeke, Michelle Green, Frances and Ginger Park, Catherine Reef, Anne Sheldon and Wendie Old.
