It's been great to read everyone's comments about the Newbery and Caldecott Medal books this past couple of weeks. Please do continue the discussion of both of these sets of award books, as we head into February. We've actually scheduled the first to weeks of February to discuss Newbery and Newbery Honor books, but it'll be fine to include the Caldecott and Caldecott Honor books in this discussion, too.
Right now, as is our tradition for the first few days of the month, we invite you to make any announcements related to children's or young adult literature -- do you have a conference or author appearance coming up, for example? Mention it here!
On Tuesday Feb 3, we'll return to our scheduled discussion.
