The literacy coach in one of our schools has asked me the following question:
"Why did Mildred Taylor choose to write "The Land" (prequel to "Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry") after "Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry."
My preliminary search of internet resources reveals no specific answers.
Does anyone out there in in the YALSA universe know the answer to this question?
