With books, as with movies, art, music, etc., there is good, bad, and taste...with taste being the most complicated/complex. What is boring for one reader/group, is poignant for another with neither reader/group being right or wrong. And so it is with Olive's Ocean; a book that is powerful for some, and not others. One of the reasons reading a book is a private/personal experience; an experience to be valued, protected, and treasured. Norma Jean
