Greetings CCBC folks -We didn't pick the "real" winners but we had a great discussion and a darned good time at our Mock Awards event. The results of the Waukesha County Federated Library System Mock Elections held last Fr iday are as follows:

Mock Newbery Award: Winner: Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli, Honors: The Tale of Despereaux by Kate Di Camillo and Locomotion by Jacqueline Woodson

Mock Caldecott Award: Winner: The Day the Babies Crawled Away by Peggy Rathman, Honors: Creation by Gerald McDermott and The Wolves in the Walls by Neil Gaiman ill. by Dave Mckean

Mock Prinz Award:Winner: Inside Out by Terry Trueman, Honors: The River Between Us by Richard Peck and Eragon by Chris Paolini
