I have read all the comments posted about the book and I think the one expressed by Ilene Abramson also expresses my views. I think this book gives the reader the chance to excape and enjoy an adventure. So much today deals with reality.It is nice to escape. Many of the students I see are requesting fantasy and adventure. They tell me they want to enjoy reading and this is what they enjoy most. As for the writing style, asking questions of a reader makes them feel included and pulled into the story and that keeps them interested.
