favorite books of the year. It will be published in the U.S. in February as THE YEAR OF SECRET ASSIGNMENTS (and as a YA novel, most definitely!). Yes, I remember being told this now, and the person asking me why I thought the title had been changed. I have no idea! Perhaps Cheryl can explain why it's been changed. Have any other changes been made to the text?
