Dear all,
Dee Jones, who has changed jobs and departed from the de Grummond, asked me to post this notice at the appropriate time.
The Ezra Jack Keats / de Grummond Collection Children's Literature Research Fellowship Program awards grants to scholars engaged in research projects based substantially on the holdings of the de Grummond Collection. The purpose of this program, sponsored by the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation, is to encourage imaginative and productive research in children's literature, and specifically to encourage and facilitate scholarly use of the resources of the de Grummond Collection. This collection contains books and original materials that focus on American and British children's literature, dating from 1530 to the present. Holdings include approximately 85,000 books as well as manuscript and illustration collections created by more than 1200 authors and illustrators. More information on the de Grummond Collection and its holdings can be found at our website http://www.lib.usm.edu/~degrum Specific information on the Fellowship can be found at http://www.lib.usm.edu/~degrum/html/research/re?llowships.shtml
Grants of up to $1200 are available to applicants of any discipline who engage in projects that require substantial use of the de Grummond Collection.
