I just wanted to alert you all to a lovely picture book originally published in Taiwan, but now available here from Cricket Books with a new English translation by my friend Roxanne Feldman (aka fairrosa) . It is One Pizza, One Penny by K.T. Kao and illustrated by Giuliano Ferri, a very charming and amusing story of friendship and food.
