The Center for Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults at the the University of San Francisco presents READING THE WORLDVI, March 13, 14, 2004. Speakers are Ashley Bryan, Alma Flor Ada, Isabel Campoy, Cynthia and Greg Leitich Smith, Suzanne Fisher Staples, Unesco Award Winner Ruth Starke of Australia, and storyteller Ruth Stotter. Over 40 break out sessions will feature Judy Sierra, Melba Beals, Diane Wolkstein, and many others. A publishers panel moderated by Junko Yokota, Gerald McDermott as Celebration Dinner speaker, Book Market and more.
