Hi CCBC_NETers,
I'd like to invite you to watch TeachingBooks' latest original author program featuring the author and visual learning / mathematic specialist Stuart Murphy. Stuart is the author of 50+ books for his MathStart series
(HarperCollins). In our craftily edited three-minute movie with him, you'll see how he uses pictures, words and math to clearly demonstrate math concepts and reveals his thought process and the physical steps involved in creating a MathStart book.
As with all original TeachingBooks Authors Up-close programs, included are transcripts of the movies, in?pth written interviews that are culled from a few hours of talking with the author, a comprehensive bibliography, teacher guides for some of his books, and a collection of pertinent links on the Web that provide further insights and glimpses of the featured author.
I've opened up free access to this complete author program for you at:
http://www.teachingbooks.net/spec_athr.cgi?name=Murphy%2C%20Stuart
I'd love to know what you think.
A peaceful December to all,
Nick
