Excuse the off-topic post, but I know there are a number of people on ccbc-net who know my good friend and colleague Donna Rawlins. I'm thrilled to announce that last night Donna was presented with the Lady Cutler Award for services to children's literature in NSW. This award is given annually by the NSW Branch of the Children's Book Council of Australia

For those of you who don't know Donna, she is one of our best loved illustrators. She is also a writer, designer, editor and teacher and has nurtured the careers of countless writers and illustrators over many years.

If any of Donna's friends wish to contact me off list, I'd be happy to email a photo of her on the big night!
