Hi everyone --
I believe at the end of the month you can announce programs -- I'm sorry about being late. But I wanted to let you know about a program that just opened in Philadelphia, as part of the city's Art in City Hall program:
Pictures Make Stories: Children's Book Illustrations. That exhibition, on display until Jan. 31, will feature work by Tony Anthony, Adam Rex, Donald Daily, Matthew Stemler, Joan Gallup, Julie Stone-Waring, Trina Schart Hyman, Juliet Wayne, Barbara Hirsch Lember, David Wiesner, E.B. Lewis, Lee Wilkinson, and Jerry Pinkney.
It's at the 2nd and 4th Floors, NE Corner, City Hall, Philadelphia.
In the interest of full disclosure and because I am so enthusiastic about his work, I should mention that Adam Rex illustrated my first picture book, THE DIRTY COWBOY and if you go to the exhibit you'll get to see some of the art in THE DIRTY COWBOY. This is his first picture book too and he's amazing! (I try to be unbaised about this, but cannot help gushing about Adam Rex . . .)
Thank you!
