If any of you will be in the Kansas City area during the month of November, please stop by the Blue Valley Branch of the Johnson County Library for a display of original picture book art by illustrator Brad Sneed. He will also present a program with the details below:

Kick off Children's Book Week with author/illustrator Brad Sneed, who will be displaying his original artwork at the Blue Valley Library from Nov. 1?c. 4. He will also display his "work process" in our display cases along with the paintings. There will be a reception, program and book sale/autographing on Sunday, Nov. 16 from 2:00-4:45. Please drop in from 2:00-3:30 to meet Mr. Sneed, enjoy refreshments and purchase books. Then stay for a slide presentation about his creative process. He will talk about his newest and most beautiful book (in my opinion!), Aesop's Fables. He will be available to autograph the books you purchase before and after the program. Please share this information with anyone who loves children's books! Hope to see you in November.
