Before the month ends (and before the October posts reach the archive, allowing me a chance to actually read them all) I wanted to suggest a few books that I've recently enjoyed in part because of complex themes of community running through them:
BEGGING FOR CHANGE by Sharon Flake BLEACHERS by John Grisham UNCOMMON FAITH by Trudy Krisher
and one from a couple of years ago: WITNESS by Karen Hesse
