Eric Rohman to Speak at UW-Madison November 17

2003 Caldecott Winner Eric Rohmann presents "Pictures into Stories: How Ideas Become Books" on Monday evening, November 17, 7 p.m., in Room L160 of the Elvehjem Musuem, 800 University Avenue, on the UW-Madison campus. This free public lecture for adults is part of the UW-Madison School of Education's American Education Week activities and is sponsored by the CCBC and the Center for Instructional Materials and Computing (CIMC), as well as the Friends of the CCBC, Inc.
In addition to his Caldecott-winning title, My Friend Rabbit (Roaring Book Press, 2002), Mr. Rohman is also the creator of the Caldecott honor book Time Flies (Crown, 1994), and The Cinder-Eyed Cats (Crown, 1997). His newest book is Pumpkinhead
(Knopf, 2003). Mr. Rohmann's books will be for sale at the Elvehjem Gift Shop, and he will autograph following the lecture.
