Please join Children's Services and The New York Public Library for the Anne Carroll Moore Lecture on November 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Donnell Library Center, Bankers Trust Company Auditorium, 20 West 53rd Street, New York City.
This year Patricia Reilly Giff, author of Pictures of Hollis Wood and Maggie's Gift,is the honored speaker. The title of her talk is "It's All History."
The annual publication Children's Books 2003: One Hundred Titles for Reading and Sharing will be available. Guests are invited to the Central Children's Room, second floor, to examine these books on exhibit and have coffee beginning at 10:00 a.m. Selections of original art from the titles on the list will be also be on display.
