I am scheduled to give a talk in Cleveland, Ohio to the annual conference of the Ohio Library Council this November. My intention is to talk of my take on what children's book publishers are interested in publishing today -- that is, why they choose to publish what they do. Admittedly, I am not an acknowleged expert on the subject, but I do have many observations drawn from acceptance/rejection letters and talks with editors to give me various insights. My request to all of you is this -- if you were attending the meeting, what specific questions would you hope I would address? Would you be interested in attending such a talk, or would you be more interested in a presentation based on my past and forth-coming boioks? Thanks in adavance for your comments. Sally Derby (Two Fools and a Horse. Hannah's Bookmobile Christmas, Taiko on a Windy Night, My Steps etc.)
