I'm sorry I don't know the book about a parsnip head. Cannot help. But it made me think to ask about another childhood favorite that I can't recall the title of, and would love to search for a copy if I did. Does anyone remember a story about a ring being baked into a donut at a bakery, and a man at the bakery who bought a donut and found the ring? Thank you. Emma
