CCBC Fall Public Service Hours Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 12:30-4 p.m.

Book Discussion Opportunities
CCBC Monthly Book Discussions provide interested adults with the opportunity to talk about newly published books for children and young adults. The discussions are held Friday afternoons, 3:30 ? 5:30, at the CCBC. Any adult who has read at least one or two books on the current month?s list is welcome. Upcoming discussion dates are: September 19, October 17, and November 21. The monthly reading list is posted at www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/up4disc.htm
Annual CCBC Award Discussions for the Caldecott, Newbery, Coretta Scott King and Printz awards will be held from 5:10-9:10 p.m. at the CCBC on the following dates:
Coretta Scott King: Wednesday, November 19 Printz: Tuesday, December 2 Caldecott: Thursday, December 11 Newbery: to be announced
(Go to www.education.wisc.edu/ccbc/thisseas.htm for award discussion updates.) CCBC award discussions are open to and interested adult. Participants read and discuss a selection of books eligible for each award from a list compiled by CCBC staff. Reading lists will be posted on the CCBC web site at least one month in advance of each discussion, or contact Megan Schliesman at schliesman at education.wisc.edu to receive the reading lists and registration information by mail as they become available.
