Hello! This summer my library system launched an online version of our teen summer reading program (Train Your Brain...READ). I have been asked by the Youth Services Department of my library system to share the following message concerning interest in surveying other libraries in regard to online summer reading programs. Your assistance will help us understand if this is an online management tool that could benefit libraries in managing successful summer reading programs.
"The Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County has developed an effective new way to manage a summer reading program for teens-it?s completely online! This program simplifies the management of the program both for teen participants and library
staff.
We are unaware of any other library program-whether library-generated or subscription service-that offers such a system. We are very curious to find out if other libraries would be interested in exploring such a management tool. Please take a minute to
share your ideas by completing the 5 multi-choice question survey at the following link: http://www.plcmc.org/tyb/survey.asp </FONT
Thank you very much for your help.
