book which was so well crafted by Louis Sachar. I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of the movie. It is excellent! I was particularly pleased with the casting. I have to agree that the young Stanley was not exactly as I imagined him while reading, but he was wonderful in the part - played with just the right balance of teen-age angst and confidence in his ability to make good choices. His connection with Zero was perfect and I loved the movie as a whole. Jon Voight and Sigourney Weaver were terrific! I loved it and can hardly wait to see it again! Well done!
