You are invited to an ALA program on Saturday, June 21, 2003. "Circling the Globe: International Collections of Children's Literature," will be held at the Lillian H. Smith Branch of the Toronto Public Library, home of the Osborne Collection. The library is located at 239 College Street. The program, which is sponsored by ALSC's National Planning of Special Collections Comittee, will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Speakers include:
Belle Alderman, Lu Rees Archives of Australian Children?s Literature Collections Development, Canberra; and Professor of Children?s Literature, University of Canberra
Clive Hurst, Head of Rare Books & Printed Ephemera, Bodelian Library, Oxford
Lynne Jackett, Dorothy Neal White & National Children?s Collection Research Librarian, National Library of New Zealand
Emma Laws, Frederick Warne Curator of Children?s Literature, Victoria and Albert Museum, London
Leslie McGrath Curator, Osborne Collection of Early Children?s Books, Toronto Public Library
Petra Woersching, International Youth Library, Munich
