HP V--long but no spoilers

Thanks, Robin, for your insightful and spoiler-free comments. Not having had the time nor the impetus you did to finish this weekend, I am not too far into the book yet myself, though I am glad to hear the pace picks up after the first 340 pages, as I am finding it rather slow-going. But then I have always felt that way with each book before Harry gets to Hogwarts; it just seems that with each volume, it takes him longer and longer to get there. There do seem to be a lot of unnecessary, although interesting, details that slow down the pace considerably. Ah, the luxury of having a captive audience!

When will Warner Brothers issue a portable Harry Potter dictionary stand so we have a convenient way to hold the book while reading? It would be nice if they would come up with some truly useful merchandise.
