Hello everyone. I invite you all to visit the website of my new book,THE WARHORSE
(to be published this June by Simon & Schuster).
At www.thewarhorse.com, you will meet Lorenzo Arrighi, the son of
Signor Renato Arrighi and heir to one of Renaissance Italy's most
renowned armorers.
Lorenzo is a boy with a great talent for his father's craft, but he
longs for adventure and the glory of battle.
When his city is threatened by a rival city-state, Lorenzo offers
himself and Scoppio, his beloved warhorse, to the service of their
charismatic leader, the duke.
This is not the future that his father, Signor Arrighi, had envisioned
for his his only son and he forbids him to go to war.
But when war finally comes, Lorenzo, though torn by
conflicting loyalties, plunges into the turmoil.
What he experiences as he comes face to face with the horrible
consequences of war will forever change the way he feels about the
world - and his place in it.
