As the poetry discussion draws to a close, the Pacific Northwest Library Association would like to take this quick opportunity to ask: What are among your summer vacation dreams?
Dine al fresco and enjoy a Wilde performance under the stars Relax and float down a lazy river on a beautiful sunny day Enjoy conversation with friends and colleagues, old and new Attend truly inspirational workshops including an entire track devoted to youth services Meet author/poet/screenwriter Sherman Alexie (and children's author/poet Michael Strickland)
Watch an exciting night rodeo Eat and shop, maybe play a little golf, then, shop and eat Arm yourself with new information on issues like CIPA and the PATRIOT Act View great new library products and materials Expand your current paradigm with new ideas Ride, hike or run along miles of quiet foothill or riverside trails Soak in off-the?aten-track hot springs
All these dreams and more can come true if you make plans to attend PNLA conference 2003 in Boise, August 13, AND allow a few days before or after to fully explore your dreams.
