Hi all, This is my first posting. I have been lurking for a couple of months, and enjoying the discussions immensely. I would like some input about how you promote poetry in your libraries during poetry month, and during the rest of the year for that matter. What kinds of reading incentive programs have you developed to focus "the littles" (K-3) on poetry as a genre and to increase borrowing of your library's poetry books? I mean besides book-talking and reading poetry to them. If this list-serv is the wrong venue to inquire about the promotional aspect of poetry, forgive me. Perhaps it is exclusively for book discussion, rather than for requests of this kind, but I really hope not because you all are most certainly deeply experienced, and I need suggestions!
