Yes, I, too, am a fan of the "small poems" and of Constance Levy's collections which are simply and truly illustrated as opposed to a poem made into a picture book. I might also add Becoming Joe DiMagggio which I discussed earlier in the year. It is illustrated in the same manner. No Way of Knowing: Dallas Poems by Myra Cohn Livingston is another example. If I remember correctly, all of these books have simple black and white sketches acccompanying the poems, suiting mood and enhancing a key element. Melody Allen
