I too like seeing what artists do with my poetry. As with all of my illustrated books, sometimes I like the end result; sometimes I don't. On the whole, I prefer pictures that don't "spell out" the whole poem. That approach reminds me of those awful guys on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE who literally act out every line of a song. Hilarious in comedy, in poetry books--NOT!
