It's been intriguing (and disappointing) to hear your reports that POSTCARDS FROM NO MAN'S LAND has generated little interest in teenage readers. On the last day of our discussion of the Printz Award winners and honor books, can anyone provide feedback on how the 3 honor books are being received by YA readers? We've heard during previous discussions that THE HOUSE OF THE SCORPION, despite its length, has been a big hit with readers as young as 6th grade. What about MY HEARTBEAT and HOLE IN MY LIFE?
