I also read this recently and really enjoyed it. I liked the way the kids' voices were all a little different form each other, a hard thing to do as I write, I imagine. I had some concerns about the characters, however. To me, they seemed a little racially stereotyped...maybe I'm being overly sensitive. What do other folks think?
