Dear CCBC friends,
Forgive me for taking so long to post this message--I've been away and have been spending free time catching up with the (always interesting, often enlightening, occasionally infuriating) discussions.
For those interested in hearing more about the editorial and artistic decisions (how to handle source notes, photographs vs. illustrations, choice of illustrator, et al) that were made in regard to ACTION JACKSON I'd like to encourage you to attend the YALSA pre-conference on informational books
(June 19 and 20) in Toronto. The authors, illustrator and I will be participating in a program moderated by Julie Cummins that will address these and other issues.
Now, back to Postcards from the Edge...
With best wishes,
Neal Porter Roaring Brook Press
