ON THE WINGS OF PEACE: WRITERS AND ILLUSTRATORS SPEAK OUT FOR PEACE edited by Sheila Hamanaka presents a variety of poems and stories that either relate tragic
'war' stories or 'no-more-war' works. The book commemorates the memory of Hiroshima and Nagasaki but also provides examples of peace and violence in our homes, communities and the world. It's appropriate for a variety of ages. Gail Pachucki, Retired Youth Services Librarian
