The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) Spain presents "OCEANS APART, UNITED BY STORY," a children's literature conference to be held in Madrid, July 4-6, 2003. Speakers include: Editors Rosemary Brosnan (HarperCollins Children's Books and Rayo/HarperCollins US), David Fickling
(David Fickling Books/RH UK), Arthur A. Levine (Arthur A. Levine Books/Scholastic US); Agent Rosemary Canter (UK); author/illustrator Bridget Strevens-Marzo (Kiss Kiss, Little Hare, Australia, and more); illustrator Sara Rojo
(Misterio en el jardin/Mystery in the Garden, Kalandraka/Picture Window Books, and more); author Sharon Darrow (Through the Tempests Dark and Wild: A Story About Mary Shelley, Candlewick US/Walker UK; and more).
